One person is in hospital with serious injuries after a two-vehicle crash east of Petrolia Tuesday morning.
Lambton OPP say a passenger van and pickup truck collided at the intersection of Inwood Rd. and Rokeby Line at around 8:30am.
Police say the van was travelling eastbound on Rokeby Line when it collided with the truck travelling north on Inwood Rd. OPP say both vehicles ended up in a ditch.
The driver of the van was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries while the driver of the truck suffered minor injuries.
Lambton EMS and Inwood, Petrolia and Alvinston firefighters also responded to the scene.
OPP West Region Traffic Investigators attended the scene. The intersection was closed for several hours.
The investigation is ongoing.
