Elevated flaring and potential noise is expected around Sarnia's Imperial Oil Manufacturing site for several days. Company spokesperson Kristina Zimmer says refinery equipment is being repaired this week. NOVA reported Monday on the Community Awareness and Emergency Response Line, that it was experiencing periods of elevated flaring as a result of a process upset. Spokesperson Meaghan Lawrence said personnel were investigating and no other impacts were anticipated.
