Jesus, Mary and Joseph will be front and centre this weekend for a live nativity scene at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Sarnia.
It's the local congregation's 40th annual nativity event, which features real people, a couple sheep and a donkey inside a 20 foot illuminated barn.
Reverend Dr. Jason Kouri said all are welcome to attend.
"It's an event for the general public. It's sort of an ecumenical event as people from various churches stop by to sing various Christmas carols and hymns," said Kouri.
The event goes December 21 and 22 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 492 Indian Rd. N.
Community Chrismas carolling will begin each night at 7:30 p.m.
Those planning to attend are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items for the Inn of the Good Shepherd.
Hot chocolate, coffee and Christmas snacks will be offered inside the church.
