Four members of the Sarnia Legionnaires showcased their talent in Waterloo Thursday afternoon.
Rookies Blake Butler and Brendan Kennette each took part in the GOJHL's Future Stars Game, while goaltender Jacob Knowles and forward Nolan DeGurse played in the Top Prospects Game.
Butler, a 16-year-old Sarnia native, has five goals and 10 assists in 29 games in his first full season with the Legionnaires. Kennette, a 16-year-old native of Tecumseh, has four goals and eight assists during his first 29 games with Sarnia.
Knowles has appeared in 21 of Sarnia's 29 games this season with a record of 10 wins and 10 losses, a save percentage of .911 and a goals against average of 3.10. The 18-year-old Sarnia native played with the Petrolia Flyers last season.
DeGurse, a 17-year-old native of Bright's Grove, is fifth in team scoring with nine goals and 13 assists.
