Company spokesperson Meaghan Lawrence said the flaring was the result of a process upset.
Lawrence said there may be some noise and light disturbances in the area while they work to return the facility to normal operating conditions.
She said no other offsite impacts were experienced.
The centre hopes to raise $50,000 to support its programs and services.
