The show goes on, The Revue opens Thursday

The curtain rises on The Revue on Thursday night.

The annual variety show by Great Lakes Secondary School students opens Thursday and runs Friday and Saturday as well.

Director and teacher April Brander said the students have been working really hard to put a fun show together.

"Lots of drama, lots of comedy sketches, musical acts and of course the famous dances, like the girls kick line and the guys dance that keep crowds coming back year after year," said Brander.

The Revue became a tradition when Sarnia Collegiate Institute and Technical School [SCITS] opened, with its state-of-the-art auditorium, on Wellington Street in 1922.

SCITS recently became Great Lakes Secondary School when it was merged with St. Clair Secondary School, and students and staff are to move into the newly renovated Murphy Road site this September.

Tickets are available at the school, The Book Keeper and PETSlife in Corunna.

Admission is $12 at the door or $10 in advance.

Doors open at 7 p.m., the show starts at 7:30 p.m.
