UPDATE: Crash knocks out power in St. Clair Township

Three people were injured in a crash Sunday that knocked out power to part of St. Clair Township for several hours.

Lambton OPP responded at around 12:15 p.m. to a two-vehicle collision at Mandaumin Road and Lasalle Line.

The crash sent one of the vehicles into a hydro pole.

Police say both drivers and a passenger were taken to hospital with what they describe as moderate injuries.

A 51-year-old Lambton Shores woman is charged with failing to yield.

Four people remain in hospital after a serious single-vehicle crash early Saturday morning.

A large SUV hit a hydro pole on Cameron Road, south of Courtright Line at around 12:30 a.m.

Lambton OPP said the force of the impact severed the hydro pole and the body of the SUV separated from the chassis.

Police say two of the four people hurt had serious injuries, and one suffered life-threatening injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
