Constable John Sottosanti said Tuesday the youth, who had been struck by a vehicle, was released from hospital Monday night.
Officers closed the westbound lanes of Exmouth Street near Indian Road before 3 p.m.
Constable Sottosanti said a school bus was involved in the incident but was not the vehicle that struck the youth.
Charges have yet to be laid.
Windsor police are looking for two suspects involved in a violent assault over the weekend.
Hospitals in southwestern Ontario are feeling the effects of underfunding, according to a new report by the CCPA.
Fortunately, no children were on board the bus, but the drivers of both vehicles were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The man was charged in March with sexual assault offences.
Both couples won in the April 11 draw.
Rondeau Harbour and Wheatley Harbour will now have the funding to make infrastructure repairs and upgrades.
