City police charged a 62-year-old Sarnia man with drunk driving after being called Saturday afternoon to a Ross Avenue home where a pickup truck had struck a tree. At around 2:30 p.m. officers spoke to witnesses who said a pickup had driven across the lawn of a residence, reversed out of the driveway, and hit a tree in another front yard. Police found the vehicle in question parked in the driveway of a Ross Avenue home, spoke with a man in the residence, and arrested him. The accused was taken to police headquarters where he allegedly blew over three times the legal limit.
