A train and tanker collide in Sarnia - March 25, 2019 (Photo courtesy of Sarnia police)The driver of a tanker truck, involved in a crash with a freight train Monday morning, has been charged.
The two collided at Tashmoo Avenue and Kenny Street near Cabot Canada around 8 a.m.
The roadway was closed for a couple of hours, but no injuries were reported.
The tanker driver is charged with disobeying a rail crossing.
Sarnia police say the tanker was hauling animal byproduct, and there was no danger of it exploding.

Fortunately, no children were on board the bus, but the drivers of both vehicles were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
