A series of seven low-cost rabies vaccination clinics across Lambton County begins Saturday March 30. The first is in Rutherford at the Public Works Garage at 4590 Lambton Line from 9 a.m. until noon. Lambton Public Health said the clinics are open to all cats and dogs, three months of age and older. Animals must be in good health and not vaccinated within the last year. The cost is $25 per animal with only cash being accepted. Only rabies vaccine will be offered, except in Sarnia where microchipping is available for an additional $20 fee.
