Guns, knives, jewellery among multiple items stolen in Warwick

Around $20,000 worth of property, including several firearms, was stolen in a break and enter in Warwick Township.

Lambton OPP say officers attended a rural residence April 15 and found that someone gained entry, searched all levels of the home and garage, and made off with several items.

A gun safe containing four hunting rifles and two shotguns was taken. The rifle manufacturers were Cooey, Remington and Savage, and the makes of the shotguns were Ithaca and JC Higgins.

Another rifle and shotgun ammunition, a PSE Stinger hunting bow and arrows in a Plano case, hunting and fishing equipment, a Johnson six horsepower outboard boat motor, a Tasko rifle scope and buck hunting knives are also missing.

Other stolen items include a 50 inch RCA television, an Xbox video console and video games, watches, necklaces, earrings, charms, bracelets and personal identification.

The OPP West Region Identification Unit and the Lambton OPP Community Street Crimes Unit continue to investigate.

Anyone with information about the incident, the location of the stolen property, or the suspects is asked to call the OPP at 519-882-1011 or Sarnia-Lambton Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
