Beer Show highlights regional craft breweries

The seventh annual Beer Show is on tap for this weekend.

Ten breweries from across Ontario will be pouring suds at the Bayside Centre in downtown Sarnia.

Organizer Nathan Colquhoun said the event features a wide variety of suds and food.

"Refined Fool will be there, obviously, but then we have Sons of Kent from Chatham, Brew from Windsor, Bayside from Erieau, Railway City from St. Thomas, Stonepicker from Forest, and we've expanded it a little bit further than breweries, so we'll have Social Lite and a cidery there as well," said Colquhoun. "If it goes in your mouth and it tastes good, we're going to have it. We also have some good food there this year -- Sitara Indian Cuisine will be there, which goes great with beer. Also Hari's Famous Spring Rolls."

The two-day event begins at 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday at 4 p.m and also features live music and local food.

Tickets are $10 or $25 for a weekend pass.
