Two arrested, two sought in Sarnia home invasion

Sarnia police have arrested two suspects and are looking to identify two others in connection with a home invasion.

On Wednesday at about 1 p.m., police say three individuals wearing masks made their way into a residence on Napier Street.

The intruders assaulted a 19-year-old man and robbed him of cash, a cellphone, and alcohol, before fleeing in a vehicle.

The vehicle was found later in the 800 block of Devine Street with a mask, believed to have been used in the crime, sitting in plain view.

Police have arrested two young offenders, under the age of 18, in connection with the incident. One faces charges including robbery, wearing a disguise with intent, and break and enter. The other is charged with robbery, unlawfully being in a dwelling house, and disobeying a court order.

The Criminal Investigation Branch is looking to identify two other suspects that are believed to have been involved, and have released a photo of the suspect vehicle.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Allison Knapp at 519-344-8861 ext. 6203, or Sarnia Lambton Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
