Sarnia police are investigating an alleged assault in the Mitton Village area.
Police were called to Davis Street at Stuart Street Wednesday over the noon hour.
Cst. John Sottosanti said police have few details at this time.
"There was some sort of disturbance with an alleged assault that occurred. Suspects and the possible victim have left the area and we're currently looking to locate the people involved," he said.
Sottosanti said police closed off Davis Street between Mitton Street and Forsyth Street South to investigate. The area was reopened around 3 p.m.
