A student from Northern Collegiate Institute and Vocational School has received an award from the Lambton Kent District School Board (LKDSB) for his athletic achievements.
Daniel Luciani is being recognized with the 2019 Stefanko Award for his discipline, leadership and teamwork.
The LKDSB said he works hard to motivate others and be competitive as a member of the high school's football, basketball and soccer teams.
Luciani was named Male Athlete of the Year throughout his secondary school career.
He will be studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of Guelph in the fall.
