A young teen was killed and a 10-year-old was critically injured in a crash Thursday night in Michigan involving an automobile and a go-cart.
The St. Clair County Sheriff's Office said the vehicles collided at around 8 p.m. at a dirt road intersection in Kenockee Township, northwest of Port Huron.
Police say the go-cart carrying the two kids ran a stop sign and was struck by a vehicle being driven by a woman from Kenockee Township.
The two were transported to hospital where the 13-year-old was pronounced dead. The 10-year-old was transferred to Downriver hospital in critical condition.
The investigation continues.
