LGS contractor donates goods to Interval Home

A demolition and environmental contractor working at the decommissioned Lambton Generating Station has donated goods to the Sarnia-Lambton Women's Interval Home.

Management, staff and labourers of JMX Contracting of Uxbridge collected food, personal toiletries and feminine products for the home.

John Theunissen, JMX supervisor at the Ontario Power Generation job site, said they're strong believers and advocates for giving back to the community they're currently working in.

The Interval Home has been in operation for more than 40 years, providing free confidential 24-hour emergency shelter services to women and children, a crisis line, and transitional housing support.
