A Sarnia application for a cannabis retail store has moved up on the lottery wait list for west region. An application for 142 Lochiel Street is now second after the disqualification of a dozen applicants chosen in the latest provincial lottery, including three in this region. That means the local application could make the cut if there are two more regional disqualifications. The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario oversees the province's legal cannabis stores. Sarnia has missed out on the first two provincial lotteries so far.
