Search for motorcycle rider shuts down 402

Middlesex OPP shut down part of Highway 402 in both directions late Sunday night as they searched for the driver of a motorcycle involved in a crash with a passenger vehicle.

The OPP's canine and emergency response teams were called in and the driver of a sport motorcycle was eventually found by uniform officers away from the original scene of the collision.

Police said the driver is facing multiple unspecified Highway Traffic Act charges.

The investigation continues and anyone with information is asked to contact Middlesex County OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers by phone at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), or online tip at www.londoncrimestoppers.com.
