Sarnia police continue to arrest impaired drivers.
The service is reporting two incidents within 12 hours of each other, including one that involved young children in the back seat.
Police say on Monday, December 23 at about 10:30 in the morning, a man was seen passed out behind the wheel at the intersection of Christina Street and London Road.
Police were notified and discovered that there were two children, aged four and five, in the back of the vehicle that had been involved in a minor collision at Christina Street and Durand Street.
The driver, a 24-year-old Corunna man, was charged with being impaired by drug, and possession of Fentanyl. The children were safely placed in the care of a family relative.

Just before 10 p.m. Sunday, December 22 police say a vehicle northbound on Christina Street near Maxwell Street crossed over the centre line and nearly hit an oncoming vehicle.
A 35-year-old Sarnia man was arrested and taken to police headquarters where breath tests indicated he was four times over the legal limit.
Sarnia police say they reached a 15-year high in 2019 with all types of impaired driving charges.
