A 20-year-old Sarnia man is facing numerous charges after an early morning break and enter at Pathways Health Centre for Children.
Sarnia police officers responded to an alarm at 1240 Murphy Rd. at around 6 a.m. Wednesday.
Police said they arrived to find multiple broken windows and extensive damage inside the building, including the offices.
At around 6:40 a.m., police said they spotted a suspect on a bike travelling southbound down Murphy Road.
It's alleged there were a number of iPads sticking out of his backpack. Police said some of the iPads had “Property of Pathways Health 1240 Murphy Road” engraved on them.
The suspect was arrested, and police allegedly found other stolen property along with break and enter instruments and a facemask.
Bradley Douglas Kelly, 20, of Sarnia, has been charged with break and enter, theft over $5,000, mischief over $5,000, possession of break and enter instruments, disguise with intent, and failing to comply with a probation order.
He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
City police and OPP have investigated a rash of break-ins to Sarnia-area agencies in recent months.
