Sarnia police trying to identify owners of stolen goods (VIDEO)

Sarnia police have released a video of several items believed to have been stolen in numerous local thefts.

They were seized on Sunday morning after a stolen truck and trailer were found parked on Wellington Street, east of Mitton Street, with a suspect asleep in the passenger's seat.

Police said anyone claiming an item or items in the video should call the Criminal Investigations Department at 519-344-8861 ext. 5300, and must provide serial numbers or identifying marks.

A 34-year-old Lambton Shores man was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of stolen property over $5,000, one count of possession of stolen property under $5,000, and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.

Police said a search of the vehicle and suspect allegedly turned up methamphetamine and fentanyl, and they said further charges are pending as the investigation continues.

The man remained in custody at the time of publication.
