A 41-year-old Petrolia man is facing impaired driving charges, after allegedly leaving the scene of a crash and resisting arrest Friday night.
Lambton OPP responded to a collision on Petrolia Line in Enniskillen Township at around 7:30 p.m. and later located the suspect in the Town of Petrolia.
Police say the man was showing signs of impairment, and that when they attempted to arrest the suspect, he resisted.
Police were able to get the man under control and bring him back to the local OPP detachment, where he provided breath samples over double the legal limit.
The suspect is changed with impaired driving, resisting a peace officer, and failing to remain at the scene of a collision. He has a court date set for late September.
