Motorcyclists charged with racing in Grand Bend

Three young motorcyclists are facing racing charges after allegedly being clocked over 70 km/h above the speed limit in Grand Bend Saturday night.

Lambton OPP say the three suspects, a 23 year-old of Woodbridge, a 23 year-old of Tottenham and a 22 year-old of Brampton, were seen speeding down Ontario Street at around 8:15 p.m.

All three are charged with racing a motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle without insurance, and each had their licence suspended and vehicle impounded for a week.

The 23-year-old from Woodbridge and 22-year-old from Brampton face an additional charge of driving a motor vehicle with an improper licence.
