Four people have been nominated as candidates for chief of Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
Incumbent Christopher Plain is joined by Sherri Crowley, Marina Plain, and Lareina Rising.
There are 36 individuals nominated to run for the nine band council seats.
Candidates have until 4 p.m. Wednesday, September 2, to withdraw from the ballot.
Votes can be cast for chief and council members at the Maawn Doosh Gumig Community Centre Friday, October 9.
Mail-in ballots are also available for those unable to vote in person.
