Three individuals are officially vying for the position of chief of Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
Incumbent Christopher Plain will be joined on the ballot by Sherri Crowley and Marina Plain.
There are 19 individuals who have verified their intention to run for the nine band council seats.
Candidates had until 4 p.m. Wednesday to withdraw their names.
Votes can be cast for chief and council, at the Maawn Doosh Gumig Community Centre Friday, October 9.
Mail-in ballots are also available for those unable to vote in person.
