From Monday until the end of January, outpatients and essential visitors to Bluewater Health's Sarnia site will have to enter through the Russell Street entrance and exit through the main entrance.
The change is due to construction to improve foot traffic in the main hallway and to provide an indoor waiting option during the colder months.
Bluewater Health said renovations to the area outside to the east of the main entrance are intended to improve energy efficiency, safety and comfort.
A porter will be available to provide help to visitors.
