Sarnia police have released surveillance video of two suspects in connection with the apparent setting of a structure fire in the city's south end Sunday morning.
First responders were called to a building in the area of Queen Street and Confederation Street at around 3 a.m.
Sarnia Fire and Rescue said the blaze was quickly brought under control and damage to the exterior of the building was not significant.
Cst. John Sottosanti said members of the Sarnia Police Service Criminal Investigation Branch have taken over what they're calling an arson investigation.
"The only information that we've received in detail is that the structure damage was minimal and no one was injured during the fire," said Sottosanti. "We are strongly hoping that individuals either know exactly what happened or can identify these people."
Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Constable Jeff Rovers at 519-344-8861, extension 0, or Sarnia Lambton Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
