Sarnia-Lambton's active COVID-19 cases dropped further Sunday to below 90.
In its daily update Lambton Public Health reported six new confirmed cases for a total of 1,833 and another nine recoveries, lowering the active case count by three to 87.
The death toll remained unchanged at 37 and there were still nine institutional and workplace outbreaks.
Numbers have been trending positively of late with the area's incidence rate per 100,000 population having dropped to 102 the week of January 17 to January 23 with a positivity rate of 2.3 per cent.
As of January 31 Bluewater Health reported eight COVID-positive patients in hospital, down from nine Saturday.
