Damage is estimated at around $30,000 following a two-alarm residential garage fire in Bright's Grove.
Sarnia Fire and Rescue Services responded Tuesday afternoon to a report of smoke in a garage in the 2600 block of Stoneridge Court.
Chief Fire Prevention Officer Roel Bus said they found a small fire burning within the wall and soffit area in the front corner of the attached garage.
He said despite Tuesday's heavy snowfall, firefighters were able to respond quickly and applied water to keep damage contained to the garage.
Bus said the occupants were home at the time, but there were no injuries.
He said an electrical arc ignited nearby combustibles, and the fire was listed as accidental.
