Spokesperson Julia Iacovella said the fire was immediately extinguished and there was no offsite impact.
Aamjiwnaang First Nation reported through its notification system that an alert was issued for fire and smoke at the tank farm at 6:05 p.m.
The all clear was sounded at 6:18 p.m.
