Prospective students of Lambton College are invited to a virtual open house this weekend.
It goes Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and it's the school's third such event of the pandemic.
Enrollment Initiatives Coordinator Shawn Fowler said their open houses have definitely evolved.
"We basically redesigned the experience and we've purchased a whole new platform for it. So our goal is to make the event as immersive as possible and really give students the information that they need in the easiest way for them to get it."
Fowler said those attending will get a good idea of what it's like at Lambton.
"Some of the things that they'll be able to do it meet face-to-face with our faculty members and our student services. We have some keynote addresses in success strategies, so 'How can students best prepare for the online learning world?'"
Fowler said the event will also feature a motivational talk from Dan Edwards, who will be joining the school's Social Services Program this fall.
Fowler also explained how they're not quite sure what the school experience will look like come September.
"It's always a evolving topic and a topic that everyone is interested in. We're hopeful that we can have people back in the college and back in classes in September, but we're obviously monitoring that and seeing where we can go from there."
