A 35-year-old Mooretown man is facing charges of drug possession and impaired driving.
On May 5 at around 8:35 p.m., Lambton OPP were called about a possible impaired driver at a gas station in Corunna.
Police stopped the vehicle, and said the driver was showing signs of impairment. He was taken to police headquarters for a drug evaluation. A small amount of suspected fentanyl was seized.
The accused is charged with operation of a motor vehicle while impaired by drug, possession of a schedule one substance, failing to comply with a release order, and driving without a licence.
He was released pending a future court date.
