Demolition at the former Bayside Mall began Monday.
It's part of phase one of Seasons Retirement Communities redevelopment plans for the downtown property, including two new residential retirement towers.
While demolition is completed, those accessing the Shared Services Centre will have to use the Christina Street entrance.
Underground parking will remain open to the public, with access to the centre at the north end of the garage.
Demolition is expected to be completed in four phases, into the month of August.
