For the second time this week, a flood watch has been issued for areas along the southern Lake Huron shoreline.
The St. Clair Conservation Authority issued a flood watch Saturday morning as northeast winds are expected to change to a northerly direction by the afternoon, with gusts up to 55 kilometres per hour.
Based on Environment Canada's forecast, waves could reach up to 1.5 metres in height.
Conservation officials warned of minor flooding in natural floodplain areas. Shoreline erosion is also possible, specifically in the Old Lakeshore Road area of Brights Grove.
The current flood watch is expected to remain in effect until Sunday.
