Canada Day fireworks in Sarnia are going virtual again this year.
Tourism Sarnia-Lambton has once again teamed up with Snapd media to bring the show to residents in their very own homes.
Residents are invited to download the app on their smartphones or tablets to access the innovative experience.
TSL Executive Director Mark Perrin said last year, Sarnia-Lambton had the third most views in the country with 7,512 downloads.
"The feedback Tourism Sarnia-Lambton received was phenomenal, as the virtual experience was enjoyed by many family celebrations, and it also allowed people who otherwise might not be able to attend a usual fireworks celebration, to have a celebration experience as well," said Perrin.
Olympian Silken Laumann will lead the countdown to the virtual display, set for 9:30 p.m. on July 1.
