Woman charged after overnight crash in Dawn-Euphemia

A 21-year-old woman from Dresden has been charged after a crash in Dawn-Euphemia Friday.

Lambton OPP were called to a single vehicle collision on Bentpath Line at 1:45 a.m. July 2.

When officers arrived, they said it became apparent the driver had consumed an alcoholic beverage.

A roadside screening device was administered and the driver was arrested for impaired operation after providing two samples over the legal limit.

The accused has since been released and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.

Lambton OPP urge motorists who see a driver they suspect is impaired, by alcohol or drugs, to contact them.
