Lambton Shores mom celebrates lottery win

A 58-year-old Lambton Shores mother is celebrating a $100,000 lottery win.

Patricia Coomdes matched the last six of seven ENCORE numbers in the exact order in the April 17, 2021 LOTTO 6/49 draw.

Coomdes said she's a regular player who always chooses the quick pick.

“I was scanning my tickets using the OLG Lottery App as I normally do, not expecting anything,” said Coomdes. "When the app rang and $100,000 appeared, I flipped the phone around to show my husband and his jaw dropped!”

Coomdes is planning to invest her winnings and share some with family.

“It’s a pretty cool feeling. I never thought it would happen,” she said.

The winning ticket was purchased at Main Street Variety in Forest.
