Bayfront Apartments expected to be move-in ready by summer

Tricar expects to start moving residents into "The Bayfront Premier Apartments" next summer.

Marketing and Media Manager Jen Grozelle tells Sarnia News Today the 15 storey high-rise, with 123 units, being built at 275 Front St. N, is nearing completion.

"We have two floors remaining for the concrete structure to be complete and then finishing has commenced on our lower floors," said Grozelle.

She said they haven't experienced any pandemic related material delays.

"We had purchased and secured all of our building materials well ahead of time. Our concrete construction is a couple of months behind, which has extended our schedule by a few months, but we are now progressing quite well."

Grozelle said they expect the roof to be on by early next year.

"Our leasing will start and our model suites will be available for viewing in May of 2022," she said. "First move-ins will then be in the summer of 2022, starting on our lower floors.

Grozelle said there aren't any wait list at this time.

"Anyone interested in living at the Bayfront can register online at Tricar.com/Bayfront and they will receive future updates, email updates and leasing information that will be released in the new year."

The rental property will offer a fitness centre, billiards room, and lounge with panoramic views of Sarnia Bay and the St. Clair River.
