Sting fan back home after injury

A child who was injured at the Sarnia Sting game Friday night is back at home.

Teddy LeDrew was hit in the head by a puck while watching the game against Windsor at Progressive Auto Sales Arena.

The Point Edward Minor Athletic Association has shared an update from Christine LeDrew that her son Teddy has been discharged from the critical care unit in London.

"He ended up with a depressed skull fracture and will be on limited activity to protect his brain for some time," Christine LeDrew said in her Facebook post. "He still has a long road to recovering from his injury but we are thrilled to have him home again."

The young boy received an outpouring of well wishes on social media over the weekend.
