Annual overnight parking ban returns

Overnight parking on residential streets in Sarnia will no longer be an option over the next few months.

The annual parking ban, from 2 a.m. until 5:30 a.m., will be in place from December 1, 2021 until March 31, 2022.

The option to park a vehicle on city streets, for a maximum of 12 hours, will be reinstated on April 1.

Other nearby communities, such as Lambton Shores, also reminded residents to not park on municipal roadways between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. to allow for snow removal.
