Lambton OPP said the rear-end collision happened at around 4:45 p.m., near the Christina Street overpass.
The Ministry of Transportation of Ontario (MTO) responded to assist with the road closure, and the scene was cleared by around 9 p.m.
One driver has been charged with careless driving.
The man was charged in March with sexual assault offences.
Both couples won in the April 11 draw.
