Teen clocked at 169 km/h on Hwy. 402

A 17-year-old from Sarnia is facing stunt driving charges after allegedly being clocked at 169 kilometres an hour on Highway 402.

Lambton OPP said the vehicle was spotted at around 3 p.m. Sunday near the Blackwell Road overpass in Sarnia, where the posted speed limit is 100 kilometres an hour.

The suspect's driver’s licence has been suspended and the vehicle impounded for 30 days. The driver will also have to appear in court to answer to the charge.
