The Sarnia Sting are coming off a tough loss against Erie.
The Sting lost to the Otters 5-2 at Progressive Auto Sales Arena Friday night.
Erie scored the first goal of the night during a power play.
During the second period, Ethan Ritchie scored Sarnia's first goal of the night with assists from Angus MacDonell and Alexis Daviault.
Erie scored the game-winning goal in the second period during a power play.
Marko Sikic scored Sarnia's second and last goal of the night during the third period with an assist from Theo Hill.
"We showed in the game, spurts where we're a really good team but we need to find that consistency to put it all together," said Nolan DeGurse in a post-game interview. He also mentioned the team needs to do better in power plays.
"A lot of these power plays were a bit too passive," said Ethan Ritchie. "Erie is obviously an extreme example but they don't stop skating, they don't stop pressuring the whole time around the power play and that's obviously way more difficult to play against than if you just let them have the zone and let them set up. So I think a part of it too, is just being more aggressive and tenacious."
