Kiwanis Club donates $10K to Literacy Lambton

A local non-profit literacy organization has received a financial boost from the Seaway Kiwanis Club of Sarnia-Lambton.

The club recently donated $10,000 to Literacy Lambton for its Train Your Brain program.

The program will be offered to Grade 3 and Grade 4 students, beginning in April.

Literacy Lambton thanked the club over social media.

"We are so appreciative of the Seaway Kiwanis support in helping bring back this needed program to the community," read the Facebook comment. "We are working hard to get program details coordinated."

Details about the program will be made through an official announcement on Literacy Lambton’s Facebook page.
