A Sarnia man is facing charges after a business in the Northgate Plaza was broken into with a crowbar at around 1:35 a.m. Monday.
Sarnia police said once inside, the suspect shattered a glass display, but dropped the items he had picked up and fled on a bicycle.
About two hours later, police found the suspect at the Eastland Plaza on Indian Road, and arrested him without incident.
A 30-year-old is charged with break and enter and mischief under $5,000.
The accused was being held pending a bail hearing.
