There was a collision Tuesday morning on the westbound Highway 402.
Lambton OPP, EMS and fire responded to a rear-end collision involving two tractor-trailers just before 7 a.m., between Indian Road and Christina Street.
Cst. Jamie Bydeley said one driver was taken to hospital.
"They are stable, and non-life threatening injuries," said Bydeley. "Our investigators are still looking into the cause, but I'm going to anticipate that we're going to be laying charges in this case when it's most appropriate to do so."
Bydeley said commercial traffic was backed up on the highway, approaching the Blue Water Bridge at the time of the collision, which is often the case.
"Be prepared to slow down or come to a stop," he said. "Be aware of the surroundings of what's going on on the highway around us. These commercial motor-vehicles are very large heavy vehicles and you need to anticipate being able to stop in a short amount of time. So, just be aware of the conditions you're driving in and making that your top priority, is focusing on driving."
The westbound highway was closed at Indian Road for several hours.
