Mast signs entry level contract with Bruins

Sarnia Sting defenceman Ryan Mast has signed a three year entry level contract with the NHL's Boston Bruins.

The deal carries an annual cap hit of $850,000.

The 19-year-old Bloomfield, Michigan native scored nine goals and added 22 assists in 59 games with the Sting this past season.

Over two seasons in a Sting uniform, Mast has put up 42 points in 117 regular season contests. He had two assists in six playoff games this past year.

He was selected by Boston in the sixth round, 181st overall, in the 2021 NHL entry draft.
