A 41-year-old Alvinston man faces criminal charges following a dispute at a residence in Southwest Middlesex.
The OPP were called to an address on Victoria St. at around 7:45 p.m. Sunday night.
Police say an individual attended the residence to collect some belongings, at which time an argument ensued.
The suspect is charged with two counts each of assault with a weapon, and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.
The accused has been released from police custody and will appear in court at a later date.
